Your Abba

My daughter's Bat Mitzvah happens to be coming up this year.  As I said on the "Music" intro page, I don't plan songs, they just happen.  This is a good example of that.  I guess she was on my mind when I picked the guitar up, I didn't plan to think about her, or certainly sing about her.  But HaShem had other plans.  I had tears in my eyes telling my wife the story -  cause pretty much the whole time the song was being created I had no idea where I was going musically or lyrically... in fact even when I realised I was singing about my children the whole time I was thinking of all of them... any of them, as a father does.  Only after the fact did I realise that it was the upcoming Bat Mitzva that must have pushed the feelings up from the deep.   I'm glad they came out.

By the way - the above is a painting is hers.  Or was, until I saw it and bought it on the spot.  I know a good investment when I see it...
