The Life We're Given

Well I went down to the sacred store 
where we learned once more 
all that was in store 
for all that we do 

Then I wake up 
I guess i was awakened 
to the path less taken 
by the thoughts that You send from above.  

But if we don't try to listen and be understood 
and if we don't try to make this 
another chance at what we want... (x4)

And I can't sleep 
lying awake in bed 
thinking about what you said
how it might just come true.  

And then I wake up
yes I was awakened 
and now I'm making 
all decisions with You.  

Cause this is the life we're given
it's not only one, but...

we better make it right
